Our story

It started out as a tale of two companies - one an investment management firm and the other an accounting firm. Merriman Capital Management was founded in Seattle in 1983 by Paul Merriman. Berkman, Purdy and Lindstrom was founded in 1963 by George Berkman. In early 2006, our firms merged because we knew that together we could provide money management services that addressed every need our clients have in a more effective way.
